Fully restored by Bob Darney – 2007.

  • Purchased from St. Louis Car Museum in 2009 by Fred Zwicker
  • Known history of car back through 1970s. Only 25 known to exist
  • Original “Oxblood Maroon” painted with TP Tools HVLP
  • New (original material) trunk lining by Fred Zwicker
  • Restored interior, convertible top and floor mats
  • New whitewall tires and wheel covers – correct size
  • Most chrome replated (Lakeside Plating & Paul’s Chrome)
  • Restored vacuum power antenna works well (very rare)
  • New original-style fog lights and side view mirrors
  • Radio and accessories all work perfectly. Wt. 3830 lbs.
  • Original 322 cu. in. V-8 restored by Shepard’s Automotive
  • In 1939, this was one of the fastest production cars made
