1954 Buick Riviera Special - Details

We call this car “The General” as it is truly a “perfect restoration”, receiving 400 points out of 400 points at the Buick Nationals in Charlotte, NC in summer of 2012. Two teams of judges went over this car for over a half-hour and were unable to find even one flaw or issue.

Originally a California car, later purchased by a collector in Indiana, and sold us the car a few years back. Due to the outstanding condition, we felt it deserved a “Body-Off-Frame” restoration in our shop at TP Tools. Bob Darney spent over a year on this car, painting it original Gull Gray with Black Top, enhanced by a red and black interior, correctly detailed engine & trunk compartment. Everything works perfectly, including a rebuilt engine and Dynaflow transmission, Power Steering and Brakes. This is the finest 1954 Buick Special in existence!
