Painted in factory – correct Ash Gold and black Z/28 stripes with correct black vinyl bucket seats and interior.
The Z/28 option started in 1967 with 602 built. The package was intended to homologate the 302 engine and heavy-duty parts for Trans Am racing. The 1968 production increased to 7199 and increased further in 1969 to 20,302 as the package became very popular. Advertised to produce 290hp but was actually found to produce 400hp.
